The views from our Holiday Park are spectacular. Whale Island is right in front of you and New Zealand’s only live marine volcano White Island can be clearly seen in the distance. The ocean beach stretches out at your doorstep and the Rangitaiki River on the other side of our holiday park also offers great water sports opportunities.
Enjoying the spectacular panoramic sea views and known for its great catch, Thornton Beach is a fisherman’s haven. Land based anglers can fish towards Whale Island from the beach with a long rod.
