A short drive from Geraldine is Peel Forest offering walks for all ages and abilities, beyond this is the Rangitata River home of the world-class whitewater rafting and salmon fishing. Join a 4x4 tour to explore the Middle Earth of The Lord of the Rings country.

Geraldine Holiday Park is a tranquil park set among huge specimen trees in the centre of town just 200m walk to shops, cafes, museum and the historic cinema.
