Situated on a working beef farm, the park is a base from which to relax, explore the Marlborough Sounds of New Zealand or an ideal stopover if you are travelling to or from the North Island. We are 30 minutes from the ferry.
The Park, constructed in 1997, is spacious and quiet, never crowded, and has clean, modern facilities, comfortable standard cabins, self contained units, and motels.
Flat powered and non powered sites are ideal for campers, caravans and campervans. Groups are easily accommodated and the park is an ideal location for low cost conferences, seminars and team building.
A farm and bush walk highlighting the natural history and the farming heritage of the area is complementary with your stay. Located 4km from the Anakiwa end of the Queen Charlotte Track courtesy pick up and drop off is available. The park is within 4km of safe beaches, sea kayaking, a gold field walk, and good mountain biking trails. Wine trails, fishing, diving, boat trips, dolphin watching and many other activities are available in the wider region.

The farm contains activities that will make any stay enjoyable. The sheep and cattle are all friendly. A complementary farm tour includes seeing the livestock and a bush walk through regenerating native bush to an impressive waterfall.
The local area has many activities that can be reached within 15 minutes including:
Sea Kayaking: from Anakiwa or from several other companies operating out of Picton or Havelock.
Mountain Biking: The Queen Charlotte Track or the scenic local roads. Hire bikes are available at Smiths Farm
Horse Trekking: 30minutes away. Trek the hills or swim the horse in the river.
Beaches: Within 4km there are several safe swimming beaches.
Boat Trips: For fishing, diving, observing the green lip mussel farming process, garden tours, doing the mail boat run or just sightseeing, these are available from nearby Picton or Havelock.
Tramping: The start of the Queen Charlotte Track is only 4km away. With options for all fitness levels ranging from five day tramps to easy day walks. The Waikakaho Track, also 4km away, has been recently redeveloped and follows the old goldminers trail.
Restaurants: The Linkwater Country Inn, 2km away has a restaurant and bar. The Clansman and the Mussel Pot restaurant, specialising in delicious green lip mussel meals are just 15 minutes drive away in Havelock.
For those wanting a little extra dining adventure, drive to Te Mahia, catch the water taxi and sample the foods of St Omer.
Dairy/ Service Station: This is situated 2km away and holds most daily requirements. It is the only local service station selling petrol/diesel.
Within an hours travel are wine tours and dolphin watching. Within three hours are whale watching at Kaikoura or skiing at the Rainbow skiifield. The park is 30 minutes from Picton, 75 minutes from Nelson and 50 minutes from Blenheim.
