Experience our seasons
Summer ~ Social times with festivals and fun attract a great crowd during December and January holidays. February and March bring hot, sunny, lazy days, with the beach becoming a lot quieter.
Autumn ~ April brings calm seas, surprisingly warm days and warm water, with real solitude.
Late Autumn and Winter ~ From May to September, days are often blue skies, clear and crisp, creating the ideal time to wander the miles of now-deserted beaches. Generally flat seas are great for boating and kayaking.
Spring ~ October to December brings increasingly hotter sun for sunbathing, with cooler sea temperatures at first. Away from the sheltered bay, afternoon sea breezes make for exciting sailing.
So relax, everything is on hand including a neighbouring restaurant, playground, mini golf, bushwalks, mountain bike trails, water skiing, sea kayaking...
