Lake Brunner Motor Camp is situated overlooking the shores of Lake Brunner, on 5 acres of gently sloping lawns, with camp sites in the native bush grotto's. There are small cabins with single and double accommodation using the camp facilities.
The Camp Shop has a good range of food supplies to cater for your needs. There is also a good supply of fishing tackle in stock in the shop.
The native bush reserve behind the camp offers all sorts of native birds, wildlife, native orchids (in season), glow-worms at night and wonderful walks in the rain forest.
The camp is a relaxing place to stay, sit in the sun (yes we have plenty of it) and enjoy nature in a tranquil setting.
The lake, being a warm water lake, with temperatures ranging from 9 degrees in the winter, to 24 degrees in the summer, is a boating and fishing paradise. Trout fishing produces some of the best fishing in New Zealand with the Arnold River listed as one of the best seven in the world.
