Haast Beach Holiday park is situated in a unique location near the Tasman Sea and the picturesque Southern Alps, as well as being surrounded by the Hapuka and Turnbull Rivers, which are excellent for fishing and whitebaiting during the season. We are on the road to Jackson's Bay where there is a seal and penguin colony and because we are in a World Heritage Park area there are some beautiful bushwalks to be found, one of those just 200m from our park. Even though we are 15 km off the main Highway, the scenic route is worth the drive if not for the peace and tranquillity. Generously supplied with amenities, the park has two good kitchens, one being combined with a split-level dining room, with wood burner and TV. The ablutions are plentiful with a good supply of hot water, and our motels are suitable for the disabled.
