Fed up with baking in the sun all day every day at the beach? Well, at the Opotiki Holiday Park you can have the best of both worlds. Relax in a rural setting but be only 200 metres from the town centre. Take a short drive to beautiful Eastern Bay beaches, take a plunge or go kayaking in the river. Our accommodation ranges from a luxurious motel to comfortable cabins, to suit every budget. Facilities for campers are just that bit special.
At the Opotiki Holiday Park there is a variety of activities to do. You can have a game of Petanque (petanque balls supplied free of charge.) Hire our Kayaks for a paddle down the Otara River, take a dip in the pool while the kids are on the great adventure playground, or cast a line off the wharf. Head off to the surf patrolled (summer holidays only) beach. You could take your boat out from the wharf or hire one of our kayaks. In the evening cook on one of our BBQ's.
There's definitely no shortage of fun filled activities to do in sunny Opotiki!!

We are located on the banks of the Waioeka River. Walk downtown for a supermarket or a little retail therapy. We are around a five minute drive to Waiotahi Beach which is surf patrolled during the summer, or when you have had enough sun and sand take a refreshing dip in the pool. In the evening stroll down to a choice of local Hotels which have restaurants and lounge bars. The Opotiki district is renowned for its magnificent bushwalks.
