Tirohanga Beach Motor Camp is located on East Coast Road, adjoining a safe sandy beach, 6km to Opotiki.

The ideal destination for a relaxing no-fuss holiday, with no smog or motorways and we are known for our family atmosphere.

Enjoy our 6-acre grounds and sandy beachfront. Lots of trees around the camp provide shady areas for tents and caravans.

Use us as a base to go tramping, fishing or just stay here to de-stress.

The children are kept occupied with the adventure playground and swimming pool or making new friends. We have tent, caravan sites or try our cabins or tourist flats.

The camp offers a designated pet area with own access to beach. Come and check us out and enjoy all we have to offer.

Sparkling waters, pristine white-sand beaches, the juicy nectar of fresh pip fruit, state-of-the-art infrastructure – the Bay of Plenty lives up to its name and then some. Squeezed between the ruggedness of the Coromandel Peninsula, and the undulating green hills of the Waikato, the “Bay” as it affectionately known, offers up more things to do in a day than you could possibly handle.

There is everything here from fishing to diving, surfing, camping, biking and relaxing aplenty - which is why this part of the North Island has been named the "Bay of Plenty".
